Since the start of the year 2000, the internet has become a more integral part of everyone’s life. Heck, I started my own blog and youtube channel in those years. Not only has the internet made way for peole to get in touch with other people more easily around the world. It laos opened up a new realm of possiblities for those that knew how to take advantage of it. Online jobs for Virtual assistants became more and more prevalent. The rise of internet influencers in facebook, Twitter, Instagram and lately ibn Tikotok have make new stars that the younger generation follows. One demand streamin services have popped up in may palces with Netflix, Amazon Orime and others taking the lead.
I personally started a blog years before my youtube channel at first as a way to express myself and my ideas. Also, as a stress releif. Then I found out that aas blogger, you could get some perks like being one of the first to know about a tech release. Get to borrow a demo unit of the latest phone and a lot more.
Now, blogging, vlogging or being a content creator in any of the online platfomrs that are prevalent today can be considered a full time job. Other heavy personalities have even made a business case by creating their own companies to serve a need in the market like Linus Tech in Canada, Yugatech in the Philippines that are full fledged business already that have more than 1 employee other than the channel owner themselves.
In the coming years, the growth in the influencer market is sure to continue. And the battle will continue on for platfomrs to attract and keep users. Grotth in the content creator space will intensify. And so will the need to be able to contact and work with influencers and brands grow more and more.
